Need help with animating background

I am currently trying to animate a scene of a spacecraft in space and was wondering how to go about animating the background. The current problem I have is that when I load the background image into the scene and render it, the background remains still. (ie. the stas don't move when the camera moves)<br>

Do you know how I can overcome this problem?

Put your sceen in a big (VERY) sphere and use the background image as a texture map on the sphere. The background image isn't actually part of the scene hence, its a static image displayed behind the scene.
