Hello Experts, I am hoping that someone has seen this error and knows the fix. I created a report in CR version 8 off a ttx file, then in VB code I hand the report the disconnected ADO recordsets (that the ttx file was generated off of) The CRViewer displays, and then gives me a message box that says "A String is Required Here"
I made a new version of the .rpt file that is nothing but a blank report with a few labels, and I get the exact same error so I know that it is not an issue that has anything to do with any formulas in the report itself (seeing as how there are none) If anyone can help me with this I sure would appreciate it.
Thanks, Brian

I have just had the same problem. I found that when i was making a record selection in vb code, the was sytax error in my selection.
If that doesn't work. Send copy of your code. might be able to find it.
