Need help with an Access report 1

I am using Access97 and I have a report that I want to display.
Can you tell me if you can display several subsequent pieces of data from the same table field on the same line of a report.
To explain this more clearly, I have a table consisting of one field that I want to print out. Rather than have numerous pages with a field going down the left hand side of the page, I would rather display the contents pretty much like excel (5 data fields along the same row).
Any suggestions?

Never mind. I have sorted it.
I never thought to look at page setup properties. I was concentrating on looking at the report properties.
