I am in the process of replacing one of our Nortel "spokes"
with a new Cisco 2600. I need some help with the wan interface configuration. This is what I have:
HUB= DLCI 16 nortel ASN
Spoke= DLCI 17 New CISCO 2600
Spoke= DLCI 34 Nortel AN
I am replacing the DLCI 17 router. It currently has a group mode PVC connection to the DLCI 16 (HUB) and a direct "virtual" connection to the DLCI 34 (spoke).
Can someone help me with the config for this interface?? I am having trouble translating the Nortel to Cisco.
This is what I have come up with so far.
interface Serial0/0
no ip address
encapsulation frame-relay IETF
service-module t1 timeslots 1-8
interface Serial0/0.16 point-to-point
description Connection to Richmond
ip address xxx.xxx.235.2 255.255.255.0
frame-relay interface-dlci 16
interface Serial0/0.34 point-to-point
description Connection to Pasadena
ip address xxx.xxx.245.1 255.255.255.0
frame-relay interface-dlci 34
Any help would be appreciated.
