Need help w/a running total using a monthly group

I have data that contains the name of the month in a column. I need to create a report that contains just the totals for each quarter. So I need to sum the amounts for Jan, Feb, Mar for Q1; Apr, May, Jun for Q2; etc...

Is there a way to just count the data w/out grouping it and displaying the count on the report?

It is different.

I have a set of data that I need to group by quarter but need to use months as I do not have quarter in my data.
