Hi, one of my clients asked me if his 5 phones could ring simultaneously and then after 5 rings, it will go to the main greeting, where it gives you the options to press 3 to talk to whoever, and so on.

I've attached an image to better explain, the black box in the middle would be the group where all extensions are, and after 5 rings it should go to the next menu.

hopefully, this is clear.

thank you

Off the top of my head.... create a group in manager with one phantom user (may need to use an unused analog extension) in it. Where you want those 5 rings, send it there. Have it overflow after 5 rings to a new VM Node and put your next menu there. I'll bet someone else will have a better or more efficient answer, but again, top of my head....

Enable voicemail on the group and set the VM timer to 22 seconds (equals more or less 5 rings)
In VM Pro client add the menu to the specific "Leave" action of that group.

at ACSscott, I tried that, the problem is that, it will ring only one phone, not all of them.

intrigrant, thank you, I would have never taught of that, it solved my problem I think, I still need to finalize it and do more testing, but I'm sure it is all good.

create a collective group and put your users in.

Add a assisted transfert to that group.

Set the no answer time in the assisted transfert.

connect the no answer from assisted transfert to the menu.

Only things you have to know, when the 5 phones are ringing it still consume a vm pro licence, and you wil get music on hold.

ACIS - ACSS

A Assisted transfer uses one VM Channel per session, if possible I recommend NOT to use assisted transfers unless you have a lot of VM Channels licensed.
