Need Help! VBA code for merge filtering

I'm surprised that the Macro Recorder didn't capture the code for filtering records during a merge with Word XP (using Filter Recipients-->Advanced). I've noticed there are several features that don't get captured that way.

I wanted the VBA code to filter only those recoreds where: CATEGORY = "Engineer" OR CATEGORY = "CCCA". But when I used the Macro Recorder and successfully did it manually, it did not capture that code and I couldn't find the correct code anywhere that represents that kind of compound filtering.
