need help unable to acces internet

hi,

i unable to access ant ftp site ex. ftp://ftp.hp.com
but i able to access all websites. and i have aslo down load other file in differnt sites (but ftp site) through html site.

my connection is throu LAN. and having firewall server which is connected direct to internet.

give the proper solution to download from ftp site.

The firewall probably blocks ftp sites. I know we do at my place, that way, people can't download. You'll have to get the admin to allow you ftp access if this is the case (at work), or change the firewall settings yourself (at home).
