Hi.
Can anyone help me with configure my PIX to send the syslog to a specific host. I need the SYSLOG on the host in order to collect data for a product called 'Private I'
I have looked in the PIX configuration guide, but it is not that simple to me.

Open your telnet/HT session to ur pix, then enter the following

logging host (interface name) (ip address)

this specifies where your syslog server resides ie which interface, and of course its IP.

Then just turn on your logging service:

logging on

btw if you have the manual that comes with the pix best way is just to use the command reference towards the back, easier reading and quite detailed.
