Hello everyone.
I need help starting the sybaseanywhere 8 on Win 2000 and or NT.
I have already installed the sybase anywhere 8.
Installation was fine.
Eveytime I try to connect to sybase using isql I get the following error.
The context allocation routine failed.
The following problem caused the failure:
Invalid context version.
Client version: 12.0
Database name (connection string): sybase8@
User name: dba
Password: sql
Error text: ct_connect(): directory service layer: internal directory contro
yer error: Requested server name not found.
Any idea?
I have also installed the open client from sybase adaptive server enterprise 12.5.
is that the open client I should be using?
thank you all
