Need help setting up jetdirect

I would like to be able to have a network printer so that my pc's can print through my home network. I am hoping I can do this via the jetdirect card in my printer.

If this is correct, can someone walk me through the jetdirect setup?

I have an HP laserjet 4 plus with an HP Jetdirect card (J2550A according to the self test)

Here's my network setup. I have a cable connection through optimum online that is connected to a D-link 604(?) router. I also have two pc's hooked up the router. Finally, I hooked up the jetdirect card to the router.

So what else do I need and what do I do?

I would appreciate any help.

By the way, I am very hardware oriented, but not too good with software

Is there an assigned IP to the JD card? You can do this from the printer's control panel.
