I believe the GLX is the same or similar to the Premier ESP 2460 which was manufactured by Intertel for North Supply and uses a command line and menu structure thru an EIA232 port on the KSU. You can use a dumb terminal or TTY emulation. It is not picky like the ones that want only VT100 types. It has been awhile since I programmed one. The assignment of ringing for CO lines is in the Database Programming menu under CO Lines.
The GLX uses a simply programming procedure from any phone. Post this message at Sundance-Communications, and it will be answered as I dont service Intertel anymore......
Groundstart is correct. and you will not find the manual at wedophones for any Intertel product. Intertel will not allow downloads of their manuals. They will only allow them to be sold via CD-Rom. The GLX manual is available on CD at
I forgot about the dildos @ intertel (aka: intersmell) and the hoopla they created over WEDOPHONES.COM. But the PREMIER ESP was NOT SOLD by intertel so they can't do anything about the ESP docs!
Intertel has always been a wierd company even in the days of crossbar PBXs like the Centurion and oddball key systems like the KeyLux. The last incarnation of the KeyLux was a real basket case!
I also remember when intertel took over TCI, a futile attempt to take over the interconnect market in California in the 1980s with their junk.
Actually Syquest, Intertel owns the rights to the ESP docs, just as they own the rights to the Isoetec and Executone docs. We used to offer downloads of those manuals from our web site until we recieved a firm, but polite, cease and desist order from the Intertel legal department. That is when we began doing it their way and giving them their cut.
