Need Help On Email Client 1

Hi All,

This is my requirement.

1) We have to develop a Mailing program which send Emails from an NT or 2000 Server Machine.

Can I know what are all the requirements that are needed on the machine where this program has to run as a Sevice?

2) This machine has to recieve files from a MainFrame. Barring the Firewall issues what are all the services that need to be kept running on this machine(NT or 2000 Server) so that the Files can be FTP'ied?

Where can I get some help on FTP?
