need help moving extensions on merlin magix

Couple of ways, simplest is to swap the cables at the Magix, then it's just a plug-n-go operation and no programming involved. Before starting, be sure to label cables with existing port number and person, then when all is satisfactory, change cable labels to reflect current port and user.
More involved is to renumber extensions, especially if there are several changes, as Labelling is not updated and must also be changed for each extension.
