Need help migrating to 11d from 10d

I am going to build a new 11d server and migrate servers over to it as well as add new 64bit servers, the problem is I have the original ADIC Tape library with 3 ADIC tape drives and if I read correctly I will have to disconnect 1 of the drives to use for the new server. so my old system will see 2 of the drives and my new server will see 1 of the drives.
Is this even possible?

What would be the best way to accomplish this?
