Need help linking scenes with moveing buttons.

I am makeing a wheel and on the the outside of the wheel there are buttons that move along with the wheel. I want to link those buttons to other scenes. I also have a mask in there to cut off half of the wheel to save page room and for effect (don't know if that might have relavence). I can get as far as clicking on one button and having the scene either start over or stop (gotoAndPlay/Stop), I dont know why it wont goto a specified scene. Thanks

Are the button actions in each scene, PinkTaco?
Cos if you've only got actions in scene 1.. then when you go to scene 2, for example, they won't be there?

I have actions in the second secne to goto the first secene. It is just for some reason I cant get the moveing buttons labeled correctly or something to goto the first scene...

If your using the scene name as target, it might not work, especially if your button is in a movie clip. Use a labeled frame instead, and add _root to your path...

Thus label your targeted frame in the first scene with an unique label such as start2 or whatever suits you (no number only labels or at least not starting off with a number!), add _root to your path, and target that labeled frame...

on(release){
_root.gotoAndPlay("start2"
}
