Need help installing new video card

I have a compaq presario S5200NX that I'm dealing with. I read that it has some poor 64 MB intel integrated graphics video card.

From what I hear it has 2 free PCI slots , so tomorrow I'm going to Best buy to buy a PCI Compatible video card, with atleast 128 MB of RAM.

I was wondering, since the integrated card can not be removed, if anyone could go with me through the process of upgrading the video card. Is it as simple as plugging the new card into another PCI slot, and going into my BIOS and selectin the new card as the primary?
