when i try to install applications on win2k i get a error message stating "application directly tried to access the hard disk this is not supported close program" what do i do about this?

You need to log on to the system as LOCAL ADMINISTRATOR. Most of the time only a local administrator has the right to install/uninstall programs. If this is a PC for work talk to the system administrator about making you a local admin.

What application are you installing ? If it's not designed for Win2K, you could get problems... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
