hi guys

im posting a thread here because i need some help in configuring a vpn server. i have 2003 std edition. im running behind a router. netgear fvs 124g and im using the dhcp from the router to give ip address.i need to know how to forward the port and also without causing any internet problems.i want to know if i use 2 local connections or 1. help in settign the server would be appreciated.i have a static ip address assigned to the router.

..my memory has left me what the popular vpn ports are..(50,51, PPTP is 1723, etc;)..quick google search will yeild your ports you need to open for your windows vpn..

...not sure how to allow those ports open in your specific router..

hi guys

i want some help here. i have a static ip address. i want to know how exactly to use the static ip address. i want to know if i use the static ip address on the server and configure the dhcp on the server using the scopes and all ow the workstations to use the dhcp to get automatic ip address and disable the dhcp from the router. i also want the work stations to have internet access.
