Need Help in understanding Page Scan on AIX5.2

Hello Anyone,

How can i learn more about page scan, is there any specific article which can be read about page scan, as i am running an aix 5.2 version on a b80 and the users are asking me to find the page scan on this server, i used vmstat , and sar to get some information but was unsuccessful, so please suggest and help. the users are oracle users and is there anything that needs to be looked upon particularly on oracle 9i on aix5.2 any recommendations, suggestions are welcome as we see a very bad performance on the system
