need help in registry

i've got a prob with my com and need to edit the registry
but i cant access it bcause i cant boot into windows

i need to find the registry file which contains the variable
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\WaitToKillServiceTimeout


note: i have 2 computers so i can copy the correct file from the other com to this faulty com

Try to use Last known Good Configuration, you can use that option when your computer display press F8 for Advanced boot options press it and then chose Last Known Good Configuration. this will pass any problem caused by faulty edite to registry or stoping any service neccessary for start-up.
