Ok so I installed the RPM for VMware and tried running it. It prompts that I have to start with the config first (vmware-config.pl). So after answering a few questions, I am prompted with "What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? (/usr/src/linux/include)". I have tried just pressing enter to that question in RH7.3 and got the installation to run successfully. But in RH8, it reprompts the question after entering. I checked the /usr/src/linux directory and cant find anything that matches. So where should I point the installation to?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Try installing the 'kernel-headers' package. Its probably on the Red Hat CD.
