Need Help in Identifiying Java Object using QTP

Hi All,

Can anyone please help? I am trying to evaluate the QTP. Currently I encountered few problems.

Problems:
1.When i do a record and run, I realised that the QTP is unable to recognize the buttons in my application ( written in java). Is there any way to make the QTP able to recognize the object?

2.There is a feature "Enable Smart Identification", can this be used to identify the java object?

Do u have java add-ins loaded? If yes, add the objects that you want to interact manually into the OR and then try clicking those objects.

The only way is to record with java add-in. Smart identification is no good for that.
