Hi there,

I am having difficulties importing data into Access. I have tried building the database from the imported data using the Table Splitter Wizard. Unfortunately, when I try and pull out information I get different figures to the Excel (correct) data. The frustrating part is that some of the figures are correct, but some are wrong.

The whole import process seemed to work fine and it produced a query that reflected my orginal data, so how come when I try and pull out more detailed data it gives me wrong figures? And why are some of them correct?

Help!

You have to be more specific. Do you get string data where there was originally numeric data, or is numeric data off, or what exactly is going on?
