Need help getting MS Proxy Server 2 config

I am having some difficulty configuring Proxy server 2 with NT 4 SP6a. It is my first time configuring a Proxy server. I went through the set up and left the defaults and entered my LAT (my ip range of my subnet) and when ever I change a workstation to use the ip address and port of the proxy it ask for login, password and domain. No matter what I enter it keeps asking. I have to be missing something. In additon I really only need it for internet web services. I appreciate any help you all can provide. Thanks
