Need Help FVM318 to FVM318

I have to get (2) Netgear FVM318 routers to vpn together. These routers are in 2 locations, both with high-speed links and static IP's. I followed the Netgear docs, but it does not work. At one point, the vpn status said it was connected, buty I could not ping machines from one network to the other. Now, the vpn connection says idle, but there are no errors in the log.

Any ideas? basically, I have settigs on both sides setup like so:

Name = Different on both sides
Local IPSEC ID = set to local WAN IP
REMOTE IPSEC = set to other router WAN IP
Remote LAN IP = set to other router local IP
Remote LAN subnet = set to other router local subnet mask
Remote WAN IP = set to other router WAN IP
Secure Association = MainMode both sides
PFS = enabled both sides
Encrypt = 3DES both sides
Encrypt key = same on both sides
Netbios = enabled both sides

I need help here.
