I would like to kick-off a screen saver after five minutes of inactivity on a SUN OS 4.1.4 system. I have added the lockscreen -t 600 command to the rc.local and the users .login. Neither has worked? There is a screenblank command that runs under rc.local that causes the screen to go blank after 5 minutes. But for security purposes, it needs to be password protected. Screenblank is not pwd protected. If I manually run the lockscreen command, it works great. Where do I need to invoke this command automatically so the user does not have to do it? Anyone have any ideas?
