need help finding a generic.mc for SCO

I am running SCO 5.0.6, trying to find a generic.mc to use with the m4. I am really new to sendmail, so if you can help, please answer very detailed?

I thought I found one but when I use the m4 /usr/lib/generic.mc > sendmail.cf

I get the following error:

-1: can't open file

I believe that m4 needs to be upgraded.

in addition the generic.mc is in that directory with correct permissions.

BTW, I've gotta ask: in this day and age, why SCO OpenServer? Aside from the legal implications of doing business with those folk, there are better systems out there.
