Need Help (Effect - Blur - Gaussian Blur)

I have created a button, but when i apply
(Effect - Blur - Gaussian Blur) to the colour of my button the width and Height of the button become bigger. This happened when i preview the button using "save for web".

So actually how to trim the extra space from my button, so that only the actually button size is save. Please help......

when you blur the circle you causing the edges to be built up of pixels that gradually spread apart as well as fade out. When something is blurry it takes up more space but with less detail. Your image has to grow a bit to accomidate for the blurs growth. The save for web function will crop right up to the last pixel, even if it doesnt show on your screen. So if you image appears to have too much of a border, it is probably just the blur disapearing before it actually stops pixel wise. BEHOLD!
