Has anyone here edited a pdf file in Word? I exported the report from Adbode to a word document.

The export does convert my document to Word, but every page is displayed like an image. I get an outline around the entire text. I can't edit any of the text.

I am completely out of options at this point. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the ugly world of PDF->Word.
If the PDF is a scanned document, you'll need OCR software.

If it isn't and if you have a full version of Acrobat, I recommend a different "extraction" method. I know that Acrobat has a "Save As RTF" / DOC option but it is ...ummm... suboptimised...
Try Save As HTML 4.0 with CSS. Usually gives relatively good results.

Never heard of this being done. But, I guess there is always a first time.

Anyway, you may be able to grab the text from PDF and paste it into Word. That's an easy thing to do.

There are websites out there that will take your pdf and convert it to Word. Just need to do a search.

There are utilities that will take pdf and give you unformatted text. Again, search.
