This will be my first time doing a login script or any scipt for that matter...can anyone help me develop a login script for my users and/or distibution group?

I have 9 users in one group, 6 users in another group and finally 12 + me(admin) in another group.

I want them to have access to each of their own drive without having access to anyone else's drive (unless I specify) and to certain folders.

Can it be done?

thanks

On a Small Business Server there is no need for a login script to handle this. If you run the My Documents Folder Redirection Wizard, then each user's My Documents folder will be stored on the server in the \Users share.

A login script will have nothing to do with the ability to access other users folders. NTFS permissions will govern this. Set permissions accordingly.

For a comprehensive login script that was originally developed for SBS environments, refer to my login script FAQ faq329-5798.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
