I am trying to create a simple registry key to just double click on the file and import the date below into the registry. I have many machines I want to add this data to and I am having trouble.

HKEY_Current_User
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Internet Settings
Zones
3
Scroll down and find 1803
Change the data to 3

and then repeat the same steps under HKEY_Local_Machine

Any help would be appreciated. In case you are wondering what this does it helps stop some downloading in IE.

Thanks

Off the top of my head I'd use REGEDIT (not regedt32) and find your key and then export it.
Then I'd edit that .REG file to have only the key/value/data you want to change and change it.
Since by default a file with a .REG extension runs a MERGE automatically the finished product should be operational (if I remember correctly)
Otherwise create a .BAT or .CMD file that uses the REG.EXE to ADD and/or UPDATE your key. Start - Run - CMD and type REG /? to see the syntax and options.
