Need help creating a dissolving image

I have to make a moving image of tiny multi-colored pieces that turn into a picture of a person. So like the opposite of a person dissolving into multi-colored pieces (don't ask).

It needs to go into a PowerPoint. So should I do something in flash and then convert it so it can go into PowerPoint, or what?

Help!!
