Hello,

Me again. Is there any way someone can help me make a conversion of a sql server user defined function to Oracle 9.2.function. Again I am still learning oracle but if done, this would really help me to see the basis of an oracle template and how one does things. I was wondering if I could e-mail the script to someone and if he/she could provide comments as to what he/she is doing so that I wouldn't have to bother you guys. I will use this function for the basis of my reporting enterprise. Please let me know. Thanks.

MrHelpMe,

We typically post everything here rather than use private communications; that way, everyone can benefit. If, however, there seems to be an overriding reason for resolving the issue via e-mail, you can reach me via following the contact points in my signature, below.

Once we resolve your need, with your concurrence, I propose that we post the results here so that others may benefit from the resolution. Sound good?
