Hi

I'm new to Crystal Reports and I'm using Crystal Reports 8.5x and the database is MS SQL Server 2005. I need help how to connect to the database.

Uday.

Not real difficult. I think SQL is something crystal can handle without any special connections. I would suggest using the Report creation wizard. One of the first items to pop up is a connection dialog box. Simply choose, i believe, "creat new connection" and start browsing. IF not, find your DBA and have them help you with a system DSN connection. go to Control Panel, then ODBC Data source, then system DSN tab, then add new. From their you are on your own. Also, once you get connected, add that to your favorites within crystal. I don't have it in front of me, but it will be an option from the wizard.

Use the wizard until you figure it out on your own. It really helps you get around.
