I have PCs at work with XP Pro and have Remote desktop setup on them. I can take my Win2k pc and remote destop to them. But when I take it home and go across my VPN I can logon to my work domain and see the PCs but remote desktop fails with
The client could not connect to the remote computer. (etc)
What do I have set up wrong?

are you really logging on to your work domain or are you logging on with cached credentials? what kind of vpn server is it? can you ping the xp boxes by name and ip addresses through the vpn?

Thank you.
I have solved the problem. The PCs at work were on DHCP and did not have a default gateway back to the Sonicwall. When I gave it an assigned IP with the default gateway of the Sonicwall everything worked.
