I am lost. I did generic fresh install of Redhat 7 on my Compaq Aramda 7400 laptop. The install did not seem to find my xircom network adapter (IIs). I found a file/driver called pcmcia-cs-3.1.24.tar.gz. It contains cardmgr services and the xircom driver. It also states that I can use the current card services, but says they may not be as adequate. So..1) should I use my card services or this one....2) What do I do with this file..ie: how do i compile the card services and or driver? ..Need major help getting started. oh yea, the file is by David Hinds(sourceforge.net).many thanks....

No answer (sorry), just another question...
Can I use these drivers on a solaris OS for the Xircom ?
Or are they not supported yet (i'm using ver 8 (.I68 i guess)
thx It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.
