Hi - I'm an app developer working as a consultant and asked for my input into developing a network. Currently they are running 5 PC's pier-to-pier. I'll need to reccommend a server and all hardware. They want to put in about 12 drops in the main traditional office building and then another 12 next door in the manufacturing area. 3 to 5 on the shop floor and the balance in offices at the far end of a 100x200x40 metal building. They say they want top oif the line stuff. I am researching in the traditional ways, but all help you guys can give will be appreciated.

The easiest route would be a Wireless network - limited to 11Mb but don't worry about that, it will be fast enough. Intel,(Xircom) and Cisco are my favorites. Then book yourself on a Sniffer University Wireless Course. It ROCKS!!!.
