need help configuring kernel 2.4.20 to support externel serial modem.

Hi Kernel Experts,

Thanks for all your help so far. i have one more question.

I upgraded to kernel2.4.20 but my modem no longer works (only under that kernel)

It is an externel serial modem.

I didnt see an option in make menuconfig for enabling serial ports or modems.

What do I need to include to get my modem to work.
