I will be installing my first IP 500, and I need some help on the PRI. It will be a simple set up. One hunt group of 6, and 2 more than do not need to be part of the hunt group. I want to configure all incoming calls to go through the hunt group. I dont know where to configure for the outgoing calls. Please help, and thanks in advance.

Everything (pretty much) is already setup by default. Out of the box IPO can make and take calls to the primary main group as long as you haven't futzed with it. You just need to enable channels 1-8 on the PRI as they are disabled by default, then BAM RING A DING DING.

Don't mean to sound rude, but what you're asking is first day stuff.

I used to be an ACE. Now I'm just an Arse.

It is my very first taime! [rednose] Your not rude at all, I appreciate your help. It's going to be my first of 6 installs, and eventually a server select for like 90 ip endpoints with all the features. I will definitely keep asking for help.

Please get training so we have a bench mark to talk from.
We help with a particular component of a problem, not do the whole thing.

No training, 6 installs and a server select?

You haven't lived until you've been affected by a lack of gratuitous arp.

It kind of was a stupid question. I just finished my basic implementation course (like last week), and the advanced this week. I know I need to change all the passwords, change the ip on LAN1, configure the users, button programming, move the users that do not need to be in the hunt, time profiles for business hours and non-business hours, http, tftp, ntp, the customer does not want vm, few short codes, etc. I just had a brain fart on the pri. Oh, the time! Do I need to give the ip 500 a ntp server or could I just leave that alone? Like I said , this will be my first install. The location will have a DS8 with a pri.

Oh, this site is a jewel. I love all the threads. I will definitely be glued to this site.

If you use ntp you need a dns entry and an ip route.
<10 users i manually set it with daylight saving change scheduled.
