Option 1 > Run configuration wizard -- it will reveal the current IP configuration information.
Option 2 > Choose the option for command line (I believe it's option 7), then type ipconfig|more <enter> (That's a pipe symbol between "ipconfig" and "more") -- The LAN1 information is the 3rd adapter listed.
If you're communicating thru the serial i/f and you can't run the config wizard, and if you see no IP configuration when running "ipconfig" thru the BCM's command line, I think its time to call your vendor -- you've either misinterpreted my suggestions or you have potentially major issues with your system.
