NEED HELP BCM WILL NOT RESPOND

I tried to vnc into bcm but it does not respond and I do not know what the I.P is.Also I do not know the release is

what is tehre in the IP address fields ...are they blank ...
set ur own address adn use that to communicate with the BCM

I do not know what I P the bcm has I can not get into it to find out.

Thru serial connection:

Option 1 > Run configuration wizard -- it will reveal the current IP configuration information.

Option 2 > Choose the option for command line (I believe it's option 7), then type ipconfig|more <enter> (That's a pipe symbol between "ipconfig" and "more") -- The LAN1 information is the 3rd adapter listed.

config wizzard does not respond and ip config for some reason shows nothing

If you're communicating thru the serial i/f and you can't run the config wizard, and if you see no IP configuration when running "ipconfig" thru the BCM's command line, I think its time to call your vendor -- you've either misinterpreted my suggestions or you have potentially major issues with your system.

when get the Config menu then select item

The next menu will tell you your IP address's

P.S I forgot to say this is done though the serial port.
