need help adding ups shipping rates 2

Hi all,
After reading the documentation for UPS Online Tools Rates and Service I cant see how it will help me do the following:

I wast to add to my shopping cart the ability for customers to choose a UPS shipping service and see the cost of it based on thier order weight (i have all weight data in my database) - THEN I want the amount for the chosen method of shipping to be added to the customer's order total. The UPS Online Tools seem to take the customer to their site and doesnt talk about how/if to get sipping data returned to my system. Does anyone have any idea how to go about this (perhaps the online tools UPS offers can do it and i just am not understanding it)?
