I'm usually on Macs so please forgive the question. I recently installed Illustrator CS and I'm trying to import some new fonts. How do I do this? I tried adding to the Illustrator folder but that didn't work.

Need help adding fonts

Hi lightwavep,
you will have to install the fonts you want into the windows font directory. This is where Ill. accesses fonts from.
click the -start- button on the task bar.
click on -setings-
click on -control panel-
then open the -Fonts- folder
after the fonts folder opens click on -file-
then click on -install new font-
then in the bottom left area select where your font file is to be downloaded from (any fonts in the folder selected will be displayed in the -List of fonts- window)
make sure there is a check mark in the box by -copy fonts to Fonts folder-
highlight the fonts you want to install and click on ok
