need good script to check the url of a forwarding page

can anyone help me with a script that will deny page access to a user if the user is not first passing through a specificly named url.

i have a page that i would like visitors to my site to view first before they proceed. my problem is they can find the subsequent pages of my site without viewing the first page. all they have to do is by type in the urls of the other pages.

any help would be much welcome!

The easiest thing to do in that case would be to check the "history" to see if the previous page was an acceptable one. If you're not familiar with that, DevGuru has a good reference section about the object.
