need fast ftp transfer

Hello,
I own a business and occasionally need to transfer files via FTP. My current ftp server is very slow, uploading, downloading, and moving around. How can I find one that is fast and reliable.

Fast to transfer dss audio files over. Not superfast, but something better than my current, very slow one.

Or are they all the same?

They're all about the same. The issue it sounds like is with your connection speed. You will need some sort of high-speed connection to see a change, the FTP server won't make much, if any difference. What is your Internet connection speed today? How big are the files? How old is your FTP box? What OS? What FTP server? IIS works just fine and it's free.
