Hi there here is the history
I have at my work win 2k server as the main file server and active directory.
my R&D manager installed at the beginning exchange 2k rc1
ufter 120 day the exchange stoped working
so he installed exchange 2k rc2 and all work good
there we installed the release version and at the beginning the public folder didn't work when we try to mount it back we got an error that we have to restart the services (of cource it didn't help)
we search in the technet and found that we can use resutil to restore and fix the public folder database it helped and now we have a problem that the store.exe take alot of resources and the computer is in 100% cpu time.
I must say that in each client the mail saved in their computer not in the exchange (i set it in each client to move it to the personal folder).
My R&D manager checked the exchange and found a lot of bad mail so he deleted it but it didn't help for long time.
when we go to system manager in the exchange and go to the mailboxes we see that people have mail when they check there is no new mail, we try to run the cleanup agent and we got error that we need to restart the services.
another problem is that we have a domain in the web and the main server has the same name
now we have user that not in the office and they don't have users in the server and we want to fwd them mail and we can't.
I've been told to make in the active directory a contact to them but it didn't help
what i need is very simple how I can set that to all the contacts the server will not use the exchange it will use the isp mail server
