need expert- having probs w/ messenger/ie 6.0

ever since i upgraded to msn messenger 4.5 i have the followng problem:

*whenever msn messenger runs in background....and i check my hotmail email (using ie: 6.0) the ie browser freezes for 5 minutes not letting me do anything on the open screen until the freeze passes. I have tried re installing msn messenger..w/o any sucess.

any help appreciated.

i also notice that my msn gamevoice program i use to talk while playing games....now takes 5 min to load (its linked to msn messenger) whereas before it took 10 secs. (i dont have this prob if i start the gamevoice first however and then open messenger.

*dont know if this helps....but when my hotmail screen freezes...if i hit alt/ctr/del...it seems there are now two msnmgr running??

Hi guy

What Operating System are you using..
How much ram have you got about???
What speed is your microprocessor
Is it a Pentium?

If you got 2 jobs running END one of them and see what happens.

Start over (with the same 2 jobs running) now END the other job and record what happens.

This is a trial and error business...lol.

You need more information so tickle it and see what happens.
After you do this you may solve your problem or be able to provide more information.
