The subject line says it.
The box has WinSCP installed (ver. 5.13.3), but I cannot find it in C:\Program Files, neither in C:\Program Files (x86) - just no such subdir anywhere on the C: drive!
Could anybody point me to the right direction, please?
TIA!

Regards,

Ilya

When you do this, this comes up:

Does it help :)

There is a great need for a sarcasm font.

Unfortunately, Andrzejek, this machine is a Win Server 2012 box, not Win7 or Win10.
Here's all there is:

So, I'm still SOOL... :-(

In case it helps.
I found WinSCP in this folder on 2012 server
C:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP

AppData is a hidden folder. You'll need to change the view in Explorer to be able to see it.

Checked this dir, it's not there.

Done that too, it's not shown there.

Actually, I need to know if this program is capable to transfer not just one file at a time (I've got (inherited, actually) a sample code that does that), but all the files from the given source dir to the target dir.
Have anyone here done that?

Ilya

Yes, I do it all the time using wildcards like *.txt or *.edi in the scripts

It may be that someone has redirected the AppData folders. Check the following registry settings:

[tt]Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\AppData[/tt]

and

[tt]Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\LocalAppData[/tt]

Alternatively type [tt]%AppData%[/tt] into Explorer as the path

Found it!
As it turned out, my co-worker, who installed this WinCSP program, had to follow the Party... err ( [bigsmile] )... Company Policy lines and install it under D:\Program Files\[Company Name]\WinCSP directory!
My co-worker used it in his program (and in works now in production), and I wasn't sure why, when I copy-pasted the Imports WinCSP and his proc that uses WinCSP, VS marked it as erring (saying "not found").
It took me couple days to realize that he should have included it in his References subsection in his project.
Anyway, my gratitude to y'all who helped me to resolve this problem.

Case is being closed.

Regards,

Ilya
