I understand that VFP 7's Beta allows visible breakpoints in the code window which will be an improvement.

1) Can you tell me if this window will allow the user to make changes to the code in this window and then restart the App from the breakpoint forward?

2) When the program pauses because of an error and the code window opens revealing the offending line of code, will I be able to make minor changes to the offending line of code and restart the App or will I still have to stop the App, make changes, and restart the App to retest every error?
The 2nd mouse gets the cheese.

While I've only used the "Tech Preview" (pre-Beta), the answers appear to be 1) No, 2) Stop and Restart - basically no different from what we have now.

Hi my friend
I was in a meeting in Microsoft two weeks ago about the most recent improvments in VFP7. The moral of the meeting was in 4 directions.
1-The IntelliSense support
2-The new object broweser
3-The XML native functions which was really wonderful (fast, reliable)
4-New automation capabilities, such as how to receive a message from your automation server in the run time, in other words, when we instantiate a Excel COM object now and update some information in a cell we have no way to receive a message (Event) from excel that this cell has been modified. Now we can do it and programmatically handle the COM events in VFP7.0 code
Anyways, for more information about that please visite
Thanks
