Need DB2 Test Database

I am very new to DB2.

I have 2 databases running but am having major issues with Crystal reports that used to work before my DB2 migration.

Can I copy/back up restore one of my databases and assign it a new alias on the same server to allow our vendor to come in and work on our triggers without effecting our 2 live databases??

Is there a white paper somewhere on this?

Definitely possible ...

Have a look at the backup and restore commands ..

If you are going to restore a prod database on the same server you will have to use REDIRECT option in the restore command
